Italian citizenship

Become an Italian citizen, with no document headaches

We guide you from start to finish: advice, documents, sworn translations and apostille.

Italian citizenship — by descent (iure sanguinis), marriage or residence — means gathering, translating and legalising the right documents, in the right order. A translation mistake or a missing stamp duty can stall the whole application for months. We handle everything: we review your case, prepare and swear in Court the documents you need (birth, marriage, criminal record) and add the apostille where required. A single point of contact, clear timing and no surprises at the counter, all the way to submitting the citizenship application.

In Italy every sworn translation goes through Italian: we translate to and from these languages, managing the whole file for you.

How it works

From your request to a valid document, in 4 steps

01

Send us the document

A photo or scan via WhatsApp or email. We give you a quote and timing, no obligation.

02

Expert translation

A registered translator translates the document with the precision required in legal settings.

03

Swearing-in at Court

The translator swears to the fidelity of the translation before the clerk: this is what gives it legal value.

04

Delivery (+ apostille)

You receive the sworn file. If you need it abroad, we add legalization or apostille.

People, not software

Sworn translators, not machine translation

Every document is translated by a registered professional and sworn before the Court clerk: that's what gives it legal value. We check names, dates, stamps and consistency with your other documents, so you don't risk rejection at the counter.

Why Asseveria

Not all sworn translations are equal.

In many courts, in practice, almost anyone can swear a translation. We make a different choice: we entrust your translations only to professionals on the official registers, who are civilly and criminally liable for what they sign.

01
Registered translators

Listed on the Court's CTU register and among the Chamber of Commerce experts.

02
Valid anywhere in Italy

We operate across the country, for public and private bodies.

03
Experts in your documents

Registry, school, licences, divorces, qualifications: we know what's needed and for whom.

04
Reliable timing and privacy

Clear quote, punctual delivery, discreet handling of your data.

The translation that holds true.

Documents translated, sworn at Court and — if needed abroad — apostilled. You send a photo, we handle everything.

FAQ

Everything you want to know

What's the difference between sworn, certified (asseverata) and certified translations?
Sworn and 'asseverata' are the same: the translator swears before the clerk that the translation is faithful to the original, which gives it legal value. A merely certified translation is a simple statement of accuracy, without swearing at Court.
Are your translations valid throughout Italy?
Yes. A sworn translation is recognised by administrative and judicial offices across the whole country, regardless of the Court where it is sworn.
How much does a sworn translation cost?
It depends on the length of the document, the language and urgency. Stamp duty is added (usually a 16 € stamp every 4 pages), except where exemption applies. Send us the document: the quote is free.
When is the translation exempt from stamp duty?
By law some uses are exempt — including school enrolment, separation and divorce, adoptions and public-sector hiring. Exemption depends on the use and the individual Court: we'll tell you if your case qualifies.
Do I also need legalization or apostille?
You need it when the document must be valid abroad. For Hague Convention countries the apostille is enough; for others, legalization is required. We handle it after the swearing-in.
How soon is it ready?
For many documents we deliver in 5 working days. If legalization or apostille is also required, allow a few more days.
Do I have to come in person?
No. You send a photo or scan of the document and we handle translation, swearing-in and delivery, wherever you are in Italy.
